As long as a garage sale permit has been pulled, a garage sale is allowed any time of the year between the hours of 8:00 am and 8:00 pm for three consecutive days. A maximum of three garage sale permits can be issued to an address during a 12-month period.

Signs advertising the sale are to be purchased from the City only and will be marked with the permit number and the dates of the sale. The purchase of these signs constitutes the only cost of the permit. 

Currently, the Lathrup Village offers for purchase: Only signs purchased from the City can be displayed during the sale and must not be placed in the City-owned right of way. Signs placed incorrectly will be removed as soon as they are discovered per Zoning Ordinance, Article 4.2
