LOGOS will host a “Back to School Jam” 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at Community Fellowship Church, 27800 Southfield Road, Lathrup Village. Backpacks, lunch bags and clothes will be provided to 60 families on the South Oakland Shelter (SOS) client list. The jam itself will include lunch, games, face painting, prizes and giveaways.
Donations and additional “Jam” sponsors are welcome through Sunday, Aug. 27.
