Yard Waste
Collection begins Monday, April 2.

Compostable items such as leaves, weeds, twigs, etc., should be placed in yard waste bags. Alternatively, yard waste may be placed in plastic garbage cans marked with SOCRRA "Yard Waste" stickers, which are available at no cost. Stickers can be obtained at City Hall. Stop by and pick up as many as needed, or call and request them to be mailed.

Yard waste also may be dropped off at the SOCRRA recycling center, 911 Coolidge, Royal Oak, MI 48073. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays; 8:00 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.

Residents (no businesses/landscapers) may bring up to 10 yard waste bags per day.

Brush & Branch Collection
Brush/branch collection occurs year around on Mondays. Place branches and limbs stacked neatly at the curb with the "cut" side facing the street. Branches must be between 4 and 14 feet long (chop or cut longer branches into small sections) and less than 4 inches in diameter.
