After careful consideration and in compliance with the governor's executive orders and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, the City of Lathrup Village has made the difficult decision to cancel all in-person Parks & Recreation programming, events, and activities through August 31, 2020. Announcing Wednesday Night Food Truck Series
We are pleased to have 6 weeks of food trucks lined up on the former Concert nights, Wednesdays from 6:30-8 PM. The series will begin Wednesday, July 8. Come on out! Pick up dinner to go or stay and eat in the park, while practicing social distancing.

Back2School Book Bag Giveaway
In partnership with LOGOS Global Ministries, we have modified our Back2School Rally into a drive-thru giveaway. We will have book bags filled with school supplies for the first 500 school-aged children. The even will be Saturday, Aug. 22 starting at 10 am, while supplies last.
Coffee with Chris & Friends
For the next few weeks, Coffee with Chris & Friends will move to Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM in Municipal Park to take advantage of the Food Truck Series. No registration or RSVP required. You'll find me near the Pavilion until about 7 PM.
