Overview
City of Lathrup Village Board of Review Poverty Exemption Application is for a reduction in property assessment because of inability to contribute to the public charges. You must provide federal and Michigan tax returns for all persons living in the household, if they filed. You must also provide a copy of your Michigan homestead property tax credit form.
All applications for Poverty Exemptions should be to the Treasurer's Office before March to be heard at the March Board of Review. Please contact the Treasurer if you have any questions about being eligible.
Poverty Standards are passed by resolution each year by the City Coucil.
