Virtual Fall Fest

Monday, October 26-Saturday, October 31

This year's Fall Fest features virtual contests and physical elements that you you can enjoy safely on your own.
Send your photo entries for the kids costume contest, pet costume contest, pumpkin decorating contest (ages 3+) and pumpkin carving contest (ages 13-adult) to recreation@lathrupvillage.org by Wednesday, October 29.  Photos will be posted to contest albums on our Lathrup Village Parks & Recreation Facebook page for voting the week of October 26-30.  Three entries with the most likes in each category will receive prizes.
You can also check out the homes participating in this year's Halloween House Decorating Contest.  The homes will be judged on Wednesday, October 29 with winner's announced on Halloween.
Check Facebook daily during Fall Fest week for Fall-inspired recipes and crafts for adults and kids.
Don't forget about our spooky and festive selfie stations in the parks too!

Lathrup Village Business Bingo

November 1-November 28

Lathrup Village Business Bingo is back and has been expanded to a whole month! Starting November 1, you can earn great prizes just by visiting Lathrup Village businesses.  Stop in to check out their deals, pick up some holiday gifts and get your bingo card marked.  Fill out your whole card and be entered for a grand prize! Bingo cards can be turned in for prizes at the Lathrup Village Winter Market on Saturday, November 28.

Lathrup Village Dog Park Grand Opening

Saturday, November 7 from 1pm - 2pm

Bring out your pooch on Saturday, November 7 from 1-2 pm to try out the brand new Lathrup Village Dog Park.  The park will be located on the site of one of the old roller hockey rinks in Annie Lathrup Park.  During the grand opening event dogs will be able to try out the park with a signed waiver.  Please make sure your dogs is up-to-date on the vaccines, is not in heat and is non-reactive around other dogs.  A limited number of dogs will be allowed in the park at any time. Free hot dogs, coffee and hot chocolate.  Giveaways for people and puppers!  Want to get involved? 2020 Winter Market

Saturday, November 28 from 10am - 2pm

Turn your card in at the 2020 Lathrup Village Winter Market on Saturday, November 28 from 10 am to 2 pm. This fun and festive outdoor market will feature handcrafted jewelry, personal items, pet treats and other items sure to make wonderful gifts for your friends and loved ones this year.  Shop local! Food truck on-site.  Limited to 100 guests. Social distancing and masks required :)  You can RSVP for the market here.

Tree Lighting Ceremony

Friday, December 4 from 7pm - 9pm

Villagers, come on out to enjoy our traditional tree lighting ceremony in a safe way.  Tree lighting will take place at 8 pm.  Santa will be on hand from 7-8:30 pm for no contact visits with kids.  Free hot chocolate, coffee and giveaways.  This is an outdoor event with limited capacity.  Masks and social distancing are required.
